Old Mountain Tavern is a proper tavern rather than a restaurant - specialty cocktails, a beer selection deeper than the town's size would explain, and a deli menu of sandwiches if you need feeding. It shares its block with Alfredo's next door and will run you a menu from there, which between them covers most of what a rider wants after a day on Route 39 or the Highland Scenic Highway. Marlinton is the natural overnight or refuel point in Pocahontas County, and this is the room people end up in.
