Mason Dixon BBQ Co. is a brick-and-mortar smokehouse on North Lafayette Avenue in Moundsville, a few blocks off Route 2 along the Ohio River. Pitmaster Patrick Fisher is an Army veteran and a Marshall County native. He smokes the brisket for about 16 hours over white oak and cherry. The baby back ribs are the signature, and they often sell out, so get there early. The house sauce takes its sweetness from Kansas City and its smoke from Texas.
