May 10: Special Olympics Kanawha County, the Nitro MooseRiders and the Nitro Moose Lodge are working together to put on their 1st Annual Olympic RIde for Special Olympics/Spaghetti Dinner to be held Saturday, May 10th. Help us raise money by either enjoying a beautiful ride through the roads of Southern West Virginia or enjoying a plate of spaghetti. An auction will be held during dinner and bikers are eligible for raffles during the ride. An all-u-can-eat breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. for $5, bike registration is from 9-11:30. Bikes will pull out of the parking lot at 12:00 Noon and return for the spaghetti dinner. $20/bike plus $5 for passenger, will include raffles and spaghetti dinner. Use south entrance (marked with signs & balloons). Last bike out at noon. All card due by 4pm. Registration $15 per bike, $10 per passenger, $5 extra hands. Registration covers cards, food, music, beverage and prizes. No rain date. First 50 players to register will receive a free t-shirt. Info call 304-338-4100 EXT: 7723 May 31 - June 1: Ohio Valley BSA Owners Club Spring Classic Rally, Toronto OH. All brands of motorcycles are welcome. Scheduled events include a combined Reliability Run / Dual Sport Ride which is an on/off road ride with two different skill levels. The Reliability Run is a timed run over a route approximately 75 miles in length while the Dual Sport Ride will follow a scenic and less challenging, but slightly longer route which is to be ridden at the riders own pace. The Reliability Run / Dual Sport Ride starts on Saturday at 9:00 am, and has a $10.00 Event Fee. There will also be a two day Observed Trials event starting Saturday 1 to 5 pm and Sunday 10 to 2 pm with a $10.00 Rider's Event fee/per day. The observed trials event will have classes for both vintage and modern machines. If there is enough interest, a Field Meet will be held on Sunday, times to be announced. We will also have Classic Road Rides, an Outdoor Swap Meet (all Vendors Welcome), Camping / Restrooms / Showers, and an on site Food Vendor.
