May 15: Ride for Ride With Pride, Sponsored by Cruiser Club USA Chapter 08, Ride with Pride Therapeutic Horsemanship Program, The ride starts at Augusta County Community Center/Wilson Middle School in Fishersville, The first bike goes out at 10:00 am. The ride fee is $15.00 for the first hand and $5.00 for a second hand. Those who register early will receive a t-shirt. The ride ends with food, prizes, and vendors. May 30: Ride Of The Patriots Ride To Rolling Thunder The Ride of the Patriots to Rolling Thunder begins with a parade down Fairfax Boulevard and an Opening Ceremony that brings the community and the bikers together to recognize the significance of this day. Keynote speaker will be Retired General Richard Myer, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. City leaders, State and Federal Delegates, the Fairfax High School Band, Fairfax City and County Fire and Police units, the Northern Virginia Firefighters Emerald Society Pipe Band and Fairfax Sheriff Deputies Coalition Pipes and Drums, the American Legion, Honor Guards, etc. have active parts in the event on Sunday morning. Spectators from the community line Fairfax Boulevard to recognize the riders and honor this Memorial Day weekend. The Ride of the Patriots takes the message of remembrance and honor for those who gave the most for our country. Last year approximately 3,500 bikes rode this ride where we joined with many others from the USA and Canada at Rolling Thunder and we are proud to do so. Please join us.
