West Virginia

July 11th: Wetzel County EMS Motorcycle Benefit Ride - (link to flyer) New Martinsville, WV. We will meet at the 4-H gournds which is located out Rt 7 East of State Route 2 south end of New Martinsville, WV. On Rt. 7 travel approx 2 miles Eastand signs on left side. Registration starts at 11am and the ride begins at 1 pm. Price for the ride is $15.00 for rider and $10/passenger. We will return in approx. 2-2 1/2 hours to the 4-H Grounds. We will have a great meal prrepared by teh people of the EMS squads and what great cooks they are! The EMS will conduct safety training for Bikers. There will be a winner of $75.00 or $125.00! We will also have give-aways, 50-50 drawng. Also through out the day Rob Campbell, Nashville Recording artist will be playing music. This has always been a fun event for a great cause benefiting The Wetzel County EMS and all support is appreciated no matter the amount. July 15 – 18: Freedom Fest Motorcycle Touring Rally– Snowshoe, Make plans now to head to the Mountain State, July 15-18 for the 10th Annual Snowshoe Mountain Freedom Fest! This event is West Virginia’s premier all-brands touring rally. During the event, riders use Snowshoe Mountain as a base camp for exploration throughout the region. Guests can participate in guided tours, enjoy live entertainment, biker games and a bike show. The rolling highways of our region are legendary to bike enthusiasts. July 8 – 11:The Gettysburg Bike Week will be held on July 8-11, 2010 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (PA) Gates open at 10am, until 10:30pm on Thurs-Saturday and 10am until 2pm on Sunday. Entry fee of $10/One Day, $30/Four Days (All Events Included) Children under 12 are Free. There will be Live Entertainment with performances by the Mustang Sally Band, Bike Show, Poker Run and more. July 23 – 25: The Carlisle Bike Fest will be held on July 23-25, 2010 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania (PA) Gates Open at 8am until 6pm on Thus-Saturday and 8an until 3pm on Sunday. There will be Activities, Vendors, and thousands of Bikers enjoy a great time with lot's of Entertainment, Bikes of all sorts including - V-Twins, Choppers, Domestic, Foreign, Customs and more. July 24: Annual North Meets South The ride will start at Dunkin Donuts, 1618 Mountain Road in Hamburg. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. The 81 mile ride will end in Port Deposit, Maryland with live music, .Hamburg,PA

July 25: Bedford County Camp Cadet Motorcycle RideThe ride will begin at Alum Bank Volunteer Fire Department. Registration will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The ride will start at 12:00 pm. All proceeds from the ride go directly towards Camp Cadet to provide a week-long camp for the youth in Bedford County. July 9 – 11: AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Mid-Ohio keeps the time machine ticking after the vintage race cars speed off with AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. The 16th annual classic bike weekend will see enthusiasts and riders travel from all across the country to sell, buy and trade gear and parts as part of North America's largest motorcycle swap meet. July 16 -18: Honda Super Cycle Weekend Immediately after the vintage bikes and riders head home, the superbikes of AMA Pro Racing bring fans back to the future as they headline the 2010 edition of the Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire. This year, the two-wheeled terrors take over the track, with Josh Hayes looking to defend his 2009 Wiseco Superbike 100 doubleheader sweep. Stars like Larry Pegram, Ben Bostrom and Hayes look to fight for the American Superbike title and be just the second rider since 1998 not named Ben Spies or Mat Mladin to win the championship.
