August 7: Farmington WV Poker Run Sponsored by Farmington Volunteer Fire Department The ride starts at Farmington Volunteer Fire Department. Registration is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The ride fee is $15.00 for the rider or $20.00 with a passenger. $250.00 will be awarded for the best hand. Second place gets $50.00 and third place gets a gift certificate. The ride ends with games, food, music, and a bike show. The bike show is open to run participants only. Plaques will be awarded in 7 classes , judges' choice and peoples’ choice. August 14: The Freedom Rally, was organized by volunteers in Summersville, WV to honor those that lay down their lives every day in order to protect and serve the citizens of America and, specifically West Virginia. Freedom Rally 2010 will be the 10th year for this event which is highlighted by the motorcycle rally. Amenities: Free Parking, Live Entertainment, Restaurant/Dining, Restroom Facilities, Summersville, WV

August 20 - 21:Bikers for Babies March of Dimes Charity Ride This event will be held in Beautiful Flatwoods West Virginia at Mountain Lakes Amphitheater. All bikes are welcome. Please check back often for updated information. Friday night Braxton County Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a pre-party with music, food and fun. August 14: Pamplin Volunteer Fire Department And Ems Poker Run - 5th Annual Pamplin Volunteer Fire and EMS will host its annual Poker Run fundraiser in efforts to raise the resources needed to continue to provide rescue service for the counties of Appomattox, Charlotte and Prince Edward Counties as well as the Town of Pamplin. $10 Per Hand Bike Show and Bike Rodeo Silent and Loud Auction Children Activities *New this year Antique Car Show* Concert at end of day 7pm - 12am featuring “Rare Form” First Bike out at 9:00 AM - Last Bike out 11:00 AM Enjoy this 89 mile ride through scenic Prince Edward County, with 5 stops all at neighboring departments and an extra card at the return stop. August 1: Leah Hoover Memorial Ride, The ride starts at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park, 201 South Walnut Street in Martinsburg. Registration is from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The ride fee is $20.00 for the rider and $15.00 for a passenger. the fee includes a meal, dice rolls, and door prize ticket. T-shirts will be given as available. The funds raised go toward safety-related tools for local fire and police departments. The ride will be followed by a meal, motorcycle games, and door prizes. All bikes are welcome, Martinsburg, PA

August 7 – 8: British-European-Antique-Classic Motorcycle Tour Sponsored by Canyon Vista Motorcycle Tours The ride starts on Saturday at the Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. The 2 day ride will go through the New York Finger Lakes area including Letchworth Gorge, Glen Curtiss Museum and more. The ride fee is $315.00 per person and includes 2 nights lodging, food and more. All participants must pre-register by July 5th. August 8: Ride To The River For Autism Poker Run ABOARD: The Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders is hosting a 'Ride to the River for Autism Poker Run'. The ride will begin and end at Three River Harley-Davidson . Registration begins at 9am and the ride will start at 11am. There will be four stops along the ride. Prizes will be given for Best Poker Hand, Worst Poker Hand, and Oldest Motorcycle Rider. The cost is $30 for a rider (Register before August 1, 2010 for only $25!) and the cost for a passenger is $15. The first 100 participants registered will receive a free Autism Awareness Bracelet. The riders will return to Three River Harley-Davidson at 1pm. There will be a celebration with live bands, food, and prizes (all included in the cost of the drive and rider fee). There will also be a Motorcycle Show with prizes for Best Antique Motorcycle, Best Custom Motorcycle, and Best Stock Motorcycle. There will also be a motorcycle raffle! Vendor Application can be found at www.aboard.org.Exhibitors will be provided individual spaces measuring 10' x 10'. Anyone requiring an excess of 10' total width, including hitches, awnings, accessories, etc., must purchase an additional space. Vendors must supply any tents, awnings, tables or chairs they need. If electricity is needed an additional fee is noted below. Exhibitor must supply own heavy-duty electrical cords. August 15:Red Knights NJ 14 Fallen Firefighter Poker Run The ride starts at Brian's Harley Davidson, 600 S. Flowers Mill Road. in Langhorne. Registration will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The ride ends in Yardville, NJ. The fee is $25.00 for the rider and $15.00 for the passenger. There will be a pig roast, barbeque, bike games, bike show, vendors and music, Langhorne, PA

Registration will start at 9:00 am and the ride will begin at 11:00 am. There will be four stops along the ride. The fee is $30.00 for the rider and $15.00 for a passenger. The fee will be $25.00 for the rider if registered before August 1.. The first 100 riders registered will receive a free Autism awareness bracelet! There will be prizes for the best poker hand, the worst poker hand, and the oldest motorcycle rider. The ride ends with a motorcycle contest, food, live bands, and prizes. August 26 - 29: PA Rally on the River, Sponsored by Splash Magic Campground, The rally will be held at Splash Magic Campground and RV Resort in Northumberland. Gates open at 8:00 am. The event includes bike games, loud pipes contest, burnout contest, guided rides, music, vendors, entertainment, contests, camping and more. The bike games will include hot dog bite off, water balloon toss, ball roll, pick up your balls, slow ride, Maxwell house, wet n wild, and tire toss. Prizes will be awarded for contest winners. August 6 – 8: Logan County Rally Logan County Rally at the Peak in Logan County, Ohio. All bikes welcome. The vendor expo will be held downtown Bellefontaine Friday night and all day Saturday with no admission fees; includes motorcycle and food vendors. Friday night we have a band, Michael Angelo's Pizza Dough Show, an All Bike Parade forming at Perry Park in East Liberty, a Garrison Flag raising and more. The rally kicks off again Saturday at 10am with the Shriners Charity Ride, then the Shriners Parade, a band and Michael Angelo's Pizza Dough Show and more. Sunday will be the Party at the Point held at Russells 100 Main St Bellefontaine, OH

August 12 – 15: Blitzthis is our 7th year. Live Bands all three days. Gates open at Noon on Thursday and stay through until Sunday morning. Many contests Bike show, Bike rodeo, Wet t-shirt contest and many more. This year you can buy a weekend pass or just a one day concert area only pass. Beer and ice at location. August 21: Uso Bike For America Honor Rendezvous To Benefit The Uso Bike For America is dedicated to honoring and raising funds to support Ohio's men and women in all areas of dedicated service to our state and our country. We will be acting as the catalyst to help as many local, state and national organizations achieve their goals by hosting a statewide motorcycle event to benefit these organizations. Ohio is a proud, strong and sustaining state and we intend to continue to put honor and pride in the forefront, by bringing this shining patriotic spotlight to Ohio. This one-day rain or shine motorcycle ride will start in 8 Ohio cities 717 E 17th Ave Columbus, OH

August 27th & 28th: Sinners-n-Saints Inc. presents the 2nd Annual Fall Ball and End of Summer Poker Run. Two day event featuring some of the areas hottest bands, ShakeBomb, Liecus, Resurrect 27, Dodge Park, The Jason Allwood Band, Close Enuf, Space Chickens, and Radio 1. $10 per day or two day pass for $15, some camping available. Poker Run on Saturday the 28th, leaving from Wing Slingers in McConnelsville, Ohio and ending just outside the gates of the Fall Ball located on SR 60 half way between Beverly and McConnelsville. $10 per person or $15 per couple, 1st bike out at 11AM and last bike in at 5PM, 50/50, door prizes, food. Portion of the proceeds from the Fall Ball and Poker Run will go to Darby Bolyard, a 9yr old from Malta, Oh recovering from a kidney transplant, and to the Washington/Morgan County Food Pantries.
